Terms of Use

Use of OnTonite

OnTonite helps people find live music and other events. You may use the app to browse event listings, search venues and artists, open maps, and visit third-party event links.

Event information

OnTonite aggregates event information from public and third-party sources. Listings are provided as-is and may be incomplete, outdated, changed, postponed, or cancelled.

Always confirm details with the venue before you go. This includes date, time, location, lineup, age restrictions, tickets, cover charge, and accessibility details.

Accounts

Accounts use a magic link sent to your email, so there are no passwords. You're responsible for access to your email and anything done through your account. Give us accurate information and don't share an account in a way that misleads people about who you are.

Acceptable use

Don't break the app or make it worse for everyone. That means: no scraping the app at scale, no attempts to hack, overload, or gain unauthorized access, no spam or fake submissions, no impersonating venues, artists, or other people, and no use of OnTonite for anything unlawful.

Your submissions

You may send us feedback, suggest venues, and claim artist profiles. If you do, you grant OnTonite a license to use, store, and display those submissions as part of operating and improving the service. You keep ownership of anything you wrote; we just need the right to actually use it. Don't send us anything you don't have the right to share.

Artist claims

When you claim an artist profile, you affirm that you own the artist's identity or are authorized to represent them. False claims are taken seriously: if you claim an artist you don't represent, you are responsible for the consequences, and we may remove the claim, the profile, and your account.

No infringement

Don't submit content that infringes anyone's copyright, trademark, or other rights. If you believe content on OnTonite infringes your rights, email mmilam360@gmail.com with a description of the work, the material on OnTonite you believe infringes it, and your contact information. That address is also our DMCA contact. We'll review and remove material when appropriate.

Third-party sites

Some links open websites or apps that OnTonite does not control. Those services have their own terms, privacy practices, prices, and policies.

Termination

We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, make false artist claims, or put the service or other users at risk. You can stop using OnTonite at any time, and you can request account deletion by emailing us.

No guarantee

OnTonite does not guarantee that every listing is accurate, available, or suitable for you. You are responsible for deciding whether to attend an event and for following venue rules and local law.

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent allowed by law, OnTonite is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio. OnTonite is operated by Michael Milam, Columbus, Ohio.

Contact

If you find incorrect event information, use the venue or event source when available to confirm the details, then contact OnTonite so we can review the listing. For everything else: mmilam360@gmail.com.
